Job summary
Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Solar System Engineer to assist in the design, assessment and technical development of residential solar PV systems in Malaysia. You will work with a team to translate customer needs into practical solar solutions.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field, with foundational knowledge of solar PV concepts, AutoCAD, PVsyst or SketchUp, and a willingness to conduct site visits and support project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Foundational knowledge of solar PV concepts and installation.
- Basic understanding of electrical sizing and load calculations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and sizing residential solar PV systems.
- Prepare system layouts, drawings and electrical schematics.
- Perform basic energy yield calculations and simulations.
- Assist in selecting panels, inverters, batteries and related components.
- Support site assessments and roof measurements.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQ and MTO.
- Assist with installation coordination, testing and documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with electrical safety standards.
