Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is seeking a hands-on contributor to assist R&D process engineers and support production machine setup and conversion (Die Bond, Wire Bond, Sawing, Spray coating). You will work across process areas to help meet project milestones.

In this role you will provide cross-functional support, ensure timely delivery of engineering samples, and cover shifts as needed to align with production schedules and business needs.

Qualifications

• Assist R&D process engineers in development work.
• Set up and convert production machines (ASM/Datacon).
• Collaborate with process engineers on process development.
• Provide cross-functional support across process areas to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D Process engineer run R&D engineering build.
• Able to setup and conversion for production machines. Example: ASM/ Datacon machines (Die Bond / Wire Bond/ Sawing/ Spray coating).
• Work with Process engineer on process development activities.
• Provides cross-support across multiple process areas, and ensures timely delivery of engineering samples to meet project and business objectives.
• Support shift schedule changes and provide coverage based on business and production needs.
