Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Penang, Malaysia seeks a dedicated engineering professional to assist new project development and coordinate production line builds from LOT start to shipment.

You will collaborate with production and Process Tech, ensure material readiness, and support R&D activities such as samples builds and system setups, leveraging basic electronics/semiconductor knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering/semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience supporting R&D activities such as samples build and Engineering EVA.
• Able to set up and run RD samples builds.
• Basic knowledge of electronics/semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the new project development.
• Coordinate Engineering build execution in production line from LOT start until shipment.
• Collaborate with production and Process Tech for standard process build.
• Ensure build material readiness and clear understanding of the DOE matrix on the engineering build.
• Manage new production and develop new system setups.
• Support shift schedule changes and provide coverage based on business and production needs.

Qualifications

• Support/assist R&D activities such as samples build/ Engineering EVA
• Able to setup and do conversion to run R&D samples build
• With Basic technical knowledge in electronic/ semiconductors
