Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Penang is seeking a production engineer to set up and convert production machines (Die Bond, Wire Bond, Sawing, Spray coating) and collaborate with the process engineer on development activities.

You will provide cross‑functional support across multiple process areas and ensure timely delivery of engineering samples to meet project and business objectives, while supporting shift changes and production coverage.

Responsibilities

• Able to setup and conversion for production machines. Exmaple: ASM/ Datacon machines (Die Bond / Wire Bond/ Sawing/ Spray coating).
• Work with Process engineer on process development activities.
• Provides cross-support across multiple process areas, and ensures timely delivery of engineering samples to meet project and business objectives.
• Support shift schedule changes and provide coverage based on business and production needs.
