Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related built environment discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with Excel and related software
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in project cost management and engineering practices
• Basic understanding of construction or engineering project delivery processes
• Professional certification or membership with BOMQA or AIQS is advantageous
• Experience with quantity surveying software or BIM tools is preferred

• Help prepare tender documents and bills of quantities for supplier and contractor procurement
• Assist in evaluating supplier and contractor quotations and tender submissions

• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers for pricing and specs
• Assist in contract administration and variations management under supervision
• Support the maintenance of project cost databases and records
• Contribute to continuous improvement in quantity surveying processes and procedures

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our Project Engineering team at EMC Meditech Sdn. Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Cheras, Selangor.

In this role, you will support the quantity surveying function within our engineering projects, contributing to cost management, procurement activities, and project delivery. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your expertise in project engineering and quantity surveying, playing an important part in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities
