Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Building Management graduate with at least 1 year of experience to support project coordination, planning, budgeting and cost control. Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office and MS Project is expected, along with strong organisational and teamwork skills.

The role requires flexibility to travel and work long hours and may involve collaboration with consultants, contractors, and government authorities to secure approvals and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor and/or Building Management
• 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office and MS Project
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate teamwork
• Flexible, able to travel and work long hours

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate with consultants and contractors, responsible for the overall coordination of the project, including project planning, budgeting and cost control, and the implementation of safety and quality systems.
• Follow up on the application for planning and construction drawing approvals with local government departments.
• Ability to review construction drawings and estimate building materials.
• Assist in project implementation and supervision of on-site construction progress.
• Prepare relevant reports as required by the Project Manager
