Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia seeks a Junior Process Technician (Metal Deposition) to support daily process tasks and line stability in a multinational setting. The role involves slug preparation, handling deviations, and assisting engineers on cost and quality improvements.

You're expected to hold a Diploma in Engineering with 1 year of wafer fabrication experience and familiarity with cleanroom protocols, EHS and 5S. A 12-hour rotating shift may apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
• At least 1 year of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, process engineering or related development.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily process sustaining tasks such as slug preparation and scheduled work.
• Address process deviations including SPC, FDC violations, and support line stability.
• Dispose materials according to OCAP and assist process engineers on improvements.
• Assist with tool qualifications and cross-functional projects in a multinational environment.
• Follow 5S, EHS, waste management and cleanroom protocols.

Your new responsibilities

• Perform daily process sustaining tasks such as slug preparation, scheduled anko according
• Attend to process deviations such as SPC, CBM, FDC violation.
• Perform material disposition according to OCAP.
• Support process engineers with various engineering projects in the area of cost & quality improvement and line stability and support new tool qualifications
• Adhere to company 5S, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Waste Management, Cleanroom Protocol and Total Quality Management System policies

What we look for

• Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Engineering, preferably in field of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Vocationally trained.
• 1 year of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication working experience
• 1 year of experience and competency in manufacturing, process engineering, product or process development

Candidate with experience in sputtering and evaporation process would have an added advantage.

Able to work on 12-hr rotating shift.

• Able to work effectively in cross-cultural multi-national working environment & organization.
