Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior .NET Developer to support development, release management, and QA for its Investment & Wealth platform in a Core Banking environment. This onsite contract role requires 3–5 years of hands-on banking software experience.

You will develop .NET applications, work with MS SQL Server, assist deployment, and ensure system availability. Bachelor’s degree and legal work eligibility in Malaysia are required, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development within banking/financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Silverlake Investments & Wealth.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications for the Investment & Wealth platform using .NET technologies.
• Perform database development, optimisation, and troubleshooting using MS SQL Server and SQL.
• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, coordination, and implementation.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including testing, defect resolution, and validation of application enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and resolve production issues.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues to ensure system availability and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system changes, releases, and support activities.
• Adhere to organisational development standards, security policies, and best practices.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development within a banking or financial services environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Silverlake Investments & Wealth.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working in an Open Systems environment.
• Experience in Core Banking or Investment & Wealth Management systems.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with application deployment and release automation processes.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of system integration and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting production environments and incident resolution.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and quality assurance processes.
