Job summary

MAXIPURA SDN BHD is recruiting an automotive technician to perform routine maintenance and assist with vehicle inspections at our Cyberjaya workshop. You will use OBD-II scanners under supervision to read fault codes and replace wear parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturer schedules and safety guidelines.

The role involves keeping the work area clean, following safety rules, and supporting senior technicians with disassembly and reassembly tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Familiarity with workshop safety rules and PPE use.
• Basic diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, brake pads/discs, tire rotation/balancing, fluid checks & top-ups, battery replacement
• Assist with inspections: engine, suspension, exhaust, brakes, lights, and basic electrical checks
• Use OBD-II scanners diagnostic tools to read fault codes (guided by seniors)
• Replace parts: sensors, spark plugs, wiper blades, belts, hoses, gaskets, bulbs
• Help disassemble, clean, and reassemble components under supervision
• Follow manufacturer service schedules & workshop standards
• Keep work bay, tools, and equipment clean & organized daily
• Follow all safety rules — use protective gear, handle tools & chemicals safely
• Care for workshop tools; report damaged/missing equipment immediately
• No smoking/open flames in workshop; keep floor dry & hazard-free
