Job summary

Raymond Auto Works Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a motivated trainee mechanic to join our workshop. You will perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under the supervision of senior mechanics.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with standard tools, read service manuals, and document work while adhering to safety practices in a busy repair environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake inspections.
• Able to use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Familiar with engines, transmissions, suspension, and exhaust systems.
• Able to read service manuals and repair diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English communication skills for team interaction.
• Willingness to learn new automotive technologies.
• Assist senior mechanics with various tasks in the workshop.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in an automotive setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance under guidance of senior mechanics.

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and identify potential repairs.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test components.
