Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking an automotive technician with at least 2 years of experience in car repair. The candidate should be skilled in diagnosing engines and using diagnostic tools, with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of after-sales repair and a commitment to integrity are required.
Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, providing estimates, and keeping detailed logs of work and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Certified in Automotive Engineering is required.
- Minimum 2 years of automotive car repair experience.
- Familiar with automotive after-sales car repair tasks.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to identify issues accurately.
- Run diagnostics on machines, engines, and transmissions to assess functionality.
- Perform service maintenance and repairs to improve vehicle longevity and reliability.
- Provide cost, time, and effort estimates for repairs or maintenance.
- Keep logs of work and issues; maintain tools and equipment.

- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
- Repair or replace damage or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
- Keep logs on work and issues.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
