MINES International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) in Selangor invites applications for a Junior Maintenance/ Technician. You will assist with daily inspections and basic maintenance of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, lighting and building systems during events and normal operations.

The role requires hands-on reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently or as part of the Operations team.

Qualifications

• SPM/ certificate or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/AC/Building Maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and general building maintenance.
• Hands-on, responsible, disciplined, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently or as part of the Operations team.
• Fresh graduates may be considered; candidates with hands-on experience are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily inspections of building facilities, equipment and M&E systems.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repair works involving electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, lighting, sanitary fittings, doors and general building facilities.
• Attend to maintenance complaints, breakdowns and operational issues promptly.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and building systems.
• Conduct routine checks on air-conditioning/chiller systems, pumps, water supply, genset, fire protection systems, lifts/escalators, STP and other building equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Monitor and assist contractors carrying out maintenance, servicing, repair or installation works.
• Provide maintenance and technical support during event setup, event days and dismantling.
• Maintain records of inspections, breakdowns, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Report major defects, equipment failures and safety issues to the HOD/Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all works comply with safety requirements and company SOPs.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, public holidays and irregular hours according to event requirements.
• Perform any other maintenance and operational duties assigned by the HOD or Management.

To cater to our growing business activities, we’re hiring Junior Maintenance/ Technician.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of building facilities, equipment, and M&E systems.

Carry out basic maintenance and repair works involving electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, lighting, sanitary fittings, doors, and general building facilities.

Attend to maintenance complaints, breakdowns, and operational issues promptly.

Requirements

Salary : RM1,700 – RM2,500 per month with OT/ performance incentive.
