Job summary

MFG TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Malaysia to inspect, maintain and repair building electrical systems, including lighting, wiring and distribution boards.

You will coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs and installations. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of factory facilities, machinery and infrastructure, troubleshooting electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues, and maintaining detailed service records to ensure

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance or a related field.
• 2 years and above of working experience in facility maintenance, electrical maintenance or factory maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, plumbing and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use maintenance tools, testing equipment and perform basic repair and troubleshooting tasks.
• Responsible, proactive, hands-on and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance and repair of building electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, power sockets and distribution boards.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of factory facilities, equipment and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, plumbing and other facility-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of factory buildings, offices, utilities and common areas to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment, machinery and facility systems.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for repair, maintenance and installation works.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection checklists, repair reports and equipment servicing schedules.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures, electrical safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns, emergencies and maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist in identifying maintenance improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to improve facility reliability and operational efficiency.
