Job summary

Esmart Laundry Sdn Bhd is hiring a Junior Laundry Machine Technician at our Balakong, Selangor facility. You will assist in maintenance and repair of commercial laundry equipment and help troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on washers, tunnel systems, dryers and ironers.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical fields is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
• Able to work overtime, weekends or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of commercial laundry machinery.
• Perform daily inspection and basic troubleshooting.
• Work with washer extractors, tunnel wash systems, dryers, ironers and other equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Check motors, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, sensors and other components.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Respond to breakdowns and assist with emergency repairs.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and spare parts used.
• Assist Senior Technicians and Technical Supervisors with maintenance projects.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized technical working area.

WE ARE HIRING | JUNIOR LAUNDRY MACHINE TECHNICIAN

Esmart Laundry Sdn Bhd is expanding our technical team and looking for a motivated Junior Laundry Machine Technician to join our commercial laundry operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of commercial laundry machinery
• Perform daily inspection and basic troubleshooting of:
• Washer Extractors
• Tunnel Wash Systems
• Industrial Dryers
• Flatwork Ironers
• Other laundry production equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• Check motors, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, sensors and other machine components
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Respond to machine breakdowns and assist with emergency repairs
• Monitor machine operating conditions and report abnormalities
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs and spare parts used
• Assist Senior Technicians and Technical Supervisors with maintenance projects
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to company procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized technical working area

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related technical field is preferred
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Interest in industrial machinery and technical troubleshooting
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory environment
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or shifts when required
• Good attitude, responsible and willing to learn
• Valid driving license is an advantage

ADDED ADVANTAGE

Candidates with knowledge or experience in:

• Industrial machinery
• Commercial laundry equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Motors, pumps and pneumatic systems
• Steam, gas or boiler systems
• Preventive maintenance will be given preference.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• RM2,500 – RM3,000 per month
• Depending on experience and technical qualifications.
