Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, pressing machines).
• Sort and classify linens by fabric type, colour and washing requirements.
• Load/unload laundry, ensure proper weight distribution.
• Add detergents, softeners and cleaning agents in correct quantities.
• Monitor wash cycles and temperatures for optimal results.
• Fold, stack and arrange cleaned items for delivery or storage.
• Report damaged or stained items for special handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and schedules.

About the role

We are seeking experienced Laundry Workers to join our operations team in Rawang, Selangor. This is a hands-on position within the laundry and textile services sector, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing, cleaning, and preparation of linens and garments to the highest standards. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering quality results and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced laundry environment.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines
• Sorting, inspecting, and classifying linens and garments according to fabric type, colour, and washing requirements
• Loading and unloading laundry into washing machines and extractors, ensuring proper weight distribution
• Adding appropriate detergents, softeners, and other cleaning agents in correct quantities
• Monitoring wash cycles and temperature settings to ensure optimal cleaning results
• Removing, folding, and stacking cleaned and dried linens and garments
• Identifying and reporting damaged or stained items that require special attention or cannot be processed
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry facility, including equipment and work areas
• Following health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times
• Assisting with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry chemicals
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and delivery schedules
