SPW Circular Services Sdn. Bhd. seeks a hands-on Asset Audit Technician to verify condition and functionality of IT assets. You will document findings, ensure secure data erasure, and assist with decommissioning at client sites.

The role requires physical work, accuracy in record-keeping, and occasional travel to client sites. Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is essential for asset tracking.

Qualifications

• Basic IT hardware knowledge is an advantage.

• Conduct hands-on audits of IT assets and document findings accurately.
• Perform data wiping and secure data erasure per standards.
• Carry out deracking, decommissioning, and physical breakdown of data centre equipment.
• Move, sort, and palletise hardware within warehouse environments.
• Maintain precise asset records using Google Sheets or Excel.
• Support collections and logistics for equipment pickup and receipt.

Conduct hands-on audits of IT assets -checking the cosmetic condition and functionality of each device and documenting findings accurately.

Perform data wiping and secure data erasure on IT assets in accordance with data sanitization standards.

Carry out deracking, decommissioning, and physical breakdown of data centre equipment at client sites.

Move, sort, and palletise hardware across the facility - this includes lifting equipment and operating in a warehouse environment throughout the day.

Maintain precise records of every asset handled using Google Sheets or Excel.

Support collections and logistics for equipment pickup, transport, and receipt

Requirements

The role involves physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, moving pallets, and handling IT equipment.

Meticulous and organised, you take documentation seriously and don't cut corners on accuracy.

Comfortable handling IT hardware such as servers, laptops, hard drives, and networking equipment - a basic understanding of how these devices work is an advantage

Accountable and dependable

Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for asset tracking and reporting.

Willing to travel locally and internationally to client sites as required.

Good communication skills in English.
