Job summary

10 Infinity Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Junior IT Support Executive to join the internal IT team in Malaysia. You will provide day-to-day technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user issues, and help set up devices and accounts to ensure colleagues can work efficiently.

The role offers hands-on experience across IT infrastructure areas and cybersecurity, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, CE, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and common network troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and customer-service oriented when assisting internal users.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
• Able to work independently while also collaborating with the IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to internal employees for hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common problems involving computers, laptops, printers, peripherals, applications, and connectivity.
• Set up and configure computers, laptops, mobile devices, software, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
• Assist with user account creation, access management, password resets, and basic permissions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot internal network connectivity and elevate complex issues when necessary.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security software.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and user devices.
• Manage and respond to IT support requests through the company's ticketing/helpdesk system.
• Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding for employees.
• Perform basic system and security checks to ensure devices comply with company IT policies.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
