Job summary

Dart is seeking a motivated Junior IT Business Analyst to join our IT team in Penang. You will support discovery, analysis, and documentation of business and technical requirements to deliver technology solutions that improve processes and drive efficiency.

You bring an associate's degree, at least 3 years in business analysis or IT support, and strong Excel/Power Query skills with basic SQL. ECBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions.
• Gather, analyse, document, and translate business and technical requirements.
• Assess processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and technology implementations.
• Develop reporting requirements, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
• Configure, enhance, and support Power Platform solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems and processes.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, track issues and resolutions.
• Lead smaller projects and assist PMs on larger initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and document user stories, acceptance criteria, maps, and docs.
• Define KPIs and develop dashboards using Power BI.
• Create training materials and support end-user adoption.
• Assist with business case development, solution evaluation, gap analyses, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.

DO YOU HAVE:

• An associate's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in business analysis, IT support or similar role.
• An Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) (preferred)
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements
• Working knowledge of Excel and Power Query for data analysis and reporting
• Basic SQL skills for querying and data validation
• An understanding of project lifecycles, systems development, change management, and risk management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical and non-technical information to stakeholders

• Assist with business case development, solution evaluation, gap analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as required
