Job summary

Bandai Namco in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Artist to help build compelling visual assets that bring our game world to life. You will learn across the game art production pipeline while working with senior artists, designers, and animators to create, optimize, and implement art assets.

The role is ideal for fresh graduates with a strong interest in game development, a solid art foundation, and a willingness to learn new tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or a candidate who graduated within the past 1 year.
• Strong interest in game development and willingness to build a career in game art.
• Portfolio must include observational or live drawing and anatomy studies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training across 3D Character, 3D Environment, Concept Art, and Animation to gain exposure to the game art production pipeline.
• Complete training assignments and exercises under the guidance of senior artists and trainers.
• Explore different art disciplines and demonstrate willingness to learn unfamiliar skills, tools, and workflows.
• Apply feedback and corrections to continuously improve assigned work.
• Communicate progress, questions, and difficulties clearly with trainers and team members.
