Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated accounting professional to support finance and accounting functions. You will handle daily accounting transactions and assist in AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.

The role requires an LCCI or Diploma in Accounting, 1–2 years of experience, and solid Excel skills. You will collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Possess at least an LCCI qualification, Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including data entry, invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing supplier invoices, preparing payments and monitoring customer collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documents for annual audits and tax submissions.
• Ensure accounting transactions are accurately recorded and comply with the company's accounting procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and other departments on accounting-related matters when necessary.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
