Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a candidate pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance to assist in daily accounting tasks in Malaysia. The role involves data entry, invoicing, filing, and support for bank and accounts reconciliations, with opportunities to prepare basic reports.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team, with good communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel/MS Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Meticulous, organised and attentive to detail.
• Willingness to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry and recording of daily financial transactions.
• Support the preparation and processing of invoices, payment vouchers and receipts.
• Assist in filing and maintaining financial documents and records.
• Support bank reconciliation and accounts reconciliation activities.
• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Verify and organise supporting documents for payments and claims.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and schedules.
• Perform general administrative duties and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
