Job summary

TA Global Berhad is seeking an Associate to support financial reporting and accounting operations in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing monthly financial statements, handling daily transactions, and ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with other departments, monitor cash flow, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and liaise with auditors and tax advisors. Fresh graduates are welcome, with preference for those from property investment or development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or professional degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel required.
• Experience with IFCA and ACCPAC is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Job description

Associate role in financial reporting and accounting operations, supporting the preparation of financial statements, daily accounting transactions, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and ensure the timely completion of monthly full-set management accounts and financial statements

Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including data entry into the accounting system and maintaining orderly physical and digital filing

Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations; proactively investigate and resolve any discrepancies

Monitor daily cash flow and assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts

Partner with other departments to ensure accounting data accuracy, deliver informative reports, and improve operational efficiency

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Perform other financial responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by management

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)

Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; experience in the property investment & property development industry is highly preferred

Proficiency in MS Excel is required

Practical experience with industry software such as IFCA and ACCPAC is a strong advantage

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet tight reporting schedules
