Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive QEHS to oversee ISO QMS, EMS and OHSAS compliance while driving continuous safety improvements. You will manage incident reporting and analytics, supervise safety on high-risk projects, and maintain essential records for audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements include a degree in Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety and at least 3 years of ISO management experience; SHO certificate is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS / OSH).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ISO Management System (QMS, Environmental, Health & Safety).
• SHO attendance certificate is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incident reports are submitted to authorities within timelines.
• Analyze incident statistics and report in prescribed format before deadlines.
• Supervise safety measures on High Risk Cleaning jobs and maintain ISO records.
• Perform annual internal audits and identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate accidents involving third party property or injury and recommend preventive actions.
• Assist risk management and hazards identification at HQ and sites; update management.
• Design safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure certificates/licenses are renewed.
• Keep abreast of changes and update management; ensure safety equipment is tested.

Degree in Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS / OSH)

Minimum 3 years of experience in ISO Management System (QMS, Environmental, Heath & Safety)

Ensure all reports related to incidents & accidents are submitted to the relevant authorities within the stipulated timeline.
Analyze statistics in respect of incidents and accidents and submit to relevant authorities is prescribed format within the dateline.

Supervise and ensure safety measures are adhered to on jobs involved in ‘High Risk Cleaning’
Responsible in ensuring all records and documents in relation to procedures involving ISO (QMS, EMS, OHSAS & ABMS) are properly maintained for future reference.

Perform annual internal audit and identify ‘Non-Conformance’ & ‘Opportunity for Improvement’ in order for continuous improvement.
Investigate and make recommendation regarding accidents involving third party property or injury.
Assist in the risk management and hazards identification at Head Office and Project Sites.
Design safety standards and procedures to eliminate accident and illness incidents and accidents.
Ensure personal and company safety certificates and license are renewed prior to expiry date.
Keep abreast with latest requirement and changes by the relevant authorities and update management on action to be taken.
Ensure the safety equipment are tested and in good working order.

Prepare annual ‘Management Review Report’ on timely basis.

Participate in team objectives activities and event when instructed.

Attend to any other tasks as and when required by my Superior and/or Management
