Job summary

J TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a site-based electrical technician to ensure safe, compliant installations and perform routine UPS maintenance. You will inspect boards, wiring, and power systems, carry out load testing, troubleshoot faults, and document site activities.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Chargeman A0 license, with 1–2 years of related experience. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, own transport, and willing to travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering required or advantageous.
• Chargeman A0 license holders encouraged to apply for fresh graduates.
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical regulations and on-site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical installations are safe and compliant with Malaysia standards.
• Inspect distribution boards, switchboards, wiring, and power systems.
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of UPS systems.
• Carry out UPS battery checks, replacements, and load testing.
• Monitor UPS health, runtime, and alarm conditions.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and UPS faults promptly and safely.
• Respond to UPS faults at client sites in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project team to support timely delivery.
• Prepare maintenance reports and site documentation after each visit.
• Enforce safe work practices and PPE usage on site.
