J TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a site-based electrical technician to ensure safe, compliant installations and perform routine UPS maintenance. You will inspect boards, wiring, and power systems, carry out load testing, troubleshoot faults, and document site activities.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Chargeman A0 license, with 1–2 years of related experience. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, own transport, and willing to travel are preferred.

• Respond to UPS faults at client sites in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project team to support timely delivery.
• Prepare maintenance reports and site documentation after each visit.
• Enforce safe work practices and PPE usage on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all electrical installations and works are carried out safely and in compliance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and applicable Malaysian standards


• Inspect and verify electrical distribution boards, switchboards, wiring, and power systems prior to and after project completion


• Perform routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of UPS systems and associated electrical equipment


• Carry out UPS battery checks, replacements, and load testing to ensure optimal performance and power continuity


• Monitor and record UPS system health, runtime capacity, and alarm conditions


• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and UPS faults promptly and safely


• Respond to UPS faults and power-related issues at client sites in a timely manner


• Coordinate with the internal project team to support smooth and timely project delivery


• Prepare and submit maintenance reports, service records, and site documentation after each site visit


• Enforce safe work practices and ensure proper use of PPE on site at all times

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering is an advantage


• At least 1–2 years of working experience in a related role (Fresh graduates with a valid Chargeman A0 license are encouraged to apply)


• Familiar with Malaysian electrical regulations and on-site safety standards


• Able to work independently and take ownership of site responsibilities


• Possess own transport and willing to travel


• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
