Job summary

ENER TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Diploma-qualified Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee MV/LV installations across semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing projects.

You will read drawings, coordinate cable runs, and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with IEC standards. Based in Penang or Kulim with overtime/travel as needed. The role requires 5+ years of relevant supervision experience and strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia;

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience; MV/LV projects preferred.
• Hands-on experience in electrical installation and power cable works.
• Experience with large-size power cables, cable tray systems and cable termination.
• Able to read electrical drawings, SLDs and cable schedules.
• Experience in semiconductor, data centre, industrial or manufacturing projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs and distribution systems is an advantage.
• Chargeman / Wireman competency certification is an added advantage.
• Good leadership and site coordination skills.
• Able to manage subcontractors and site workers effectively.
• Willing to work overtime and travel to project sites when required.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MV/LV electrical installation works according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate installation of power cables, cable trays, ladders, conduits, switchboards, MCCs, switchgear and semiconductor tools.
• Supervise large power cable installation, including cable pulling, dressing, glanding, lugging, cleating and termination.
• Ensure correct installation of cable glands, lugs, termination kits, earthing and bonding systems.
• Read and interpret SLD, electrical drawings, cable schedules and installation drawings.
• Coordinate daily site activities with project engineers, subcontractors, clients and other trades.
• Monitor work progress, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure installation meets required quality and safety standards.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection records and installation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, IEC standards, site safety procedures and client requirements.
