Job summary

United MS Electrical Mfg (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality/Process Development role in Rawang to develop QC metrics, SOPs, and CAPA processes. The candidate will oversee inspections, analyze data, and drive root-cause analysis for defects across components and finished goods.

The position requires a 0–3 year background in electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineering, CAD skills (Creo/Pro-Engineer preferred; SolidWorks acceptable), and a willingness to be based in Rawang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience; fresh graduates with relevant academic or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic proficiency in 3D CAD software ( Creo / Pro-Engineer preferred; SolidWorks or similar acceptable ).
• Possess driving licence class 'D'.
• Knowledge of SPC, Process Capability, etc is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of QMS ISO9001.

Responsibilities

• Process Development: Develop and implement quality control metrics, testing plans, and SOPs.
• Testing & Inspection: Plan and oversee product inspections, analyze quality data, root-cause analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure procedures meet GMP, ISO, or safety guidelines.
• Defect Resolution: Facilitate CAPA to mitigate issues and prevent recurring defects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and assess raw materials.
• Manufacturing: Focus on raw materials, supplier performance, production line efficiency, and endurance testing.
• Software/IT: Focus on SPC, Process Capability, Six-Sigma, materials tests, and internal verification tests.
• Special projects: Data collection and resolution of internal quality issues; respond to customer feedback.

Testing & Inspection:Plan and oversee product inspections, analyze quality data, and perform root-cause analysis on defective components & finished goods.

Compliance:Ensure all manufacturing and operational procedures meet strict regulatory standards, such as GMP, ISO, or industry-specific safety guidelines.

Defect Resolution: Facilitate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to mitigate issues and prevent recurring defects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and assess the quality of raw materials.

Manufacturing: Focuses on raw materials / Supplier's performance, production line efficiency, and physical endurance testing.

Software/IT: Focuses on SPC/ Process Capability/ Six-Sigma, materials tests, and ensuring internal verification test perform smoothly

Special projects / tasks assigned by the Management: Data collection & Resolution of internal quality issues & respond to customer feedback.

Requirements
