Job summary

Ferco Seating Systems (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Engineering professional to lead design, 2D/3D simulations, BOM development, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing domain.

You will prepare detailed assemblies, validate designs, and assist on the production floor. You will liaise with suppliers and customers, ensuring drawings are current and accurately revised.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent skill in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Good team player with a learning attitude.
• Hands-on experience with assembly and troubleshooting in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• In charge of detail drawing, 2D/3D simulation, BOM, development and continuous improvement activities, engineering documentation, design validation, reverse engineering, liaising with suppliers and customers.
• Prepare specifications and detailed assembly drawings for suppliers.
• Assist in resolving design issues and developing non-standard designs and solutions.
• Able to work on assembly troubleshooting for the manufacturing line.
• Ensure drawings are self-checked for correctness, with revisions included in the latest copies.

Job description

To take responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering department, including design, engineering documentation, mock-up co-ordination and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

To be aligned with the Company's Vision, Mission and Guiding Principle

To work towards achieving the Company's KPIs and department KPI

In charge of detail drawing, 2D/3D simulation, Bill of Material (BOM), development, continuous improvement activities, engineering documentation, design validation, reverse engineering, supplier and customer liaise.

Preparation of specification and detailed assembly drawings to supplier.

Assist in resolve design issues, generate or development non-standard design and solution of product.

Able to work on assembly troubleshoot for manufacturing field.

Assist with any others assignment when required

Responsible to perform self-checked on the drawing for correctness and quality, revision and ensure that the changes are include and complete on the latest copies of all affected drawings.

Requirements: -

Candidate must possess at least Certificate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

At least 2 Year (s) of working experience in the related field an advantage.

Required skill(s): Excellent skill in AutoCAD2D/3D, Microsoft office

Good team player and good learning attitude.

Hands on experience on assembly and troubleshoot for manufacturing line have added advantage.

Analytical and able to think through solutions to solve design and problem have added advantage.

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in manufacturing / automotive / furniture industries or equivalent.

Familiar with basic measurement equipment is required
