EY is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines and architectures for analytics and AI workloads in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with senior engineers on data infrastructure, ensuring data from multiple sources is collected, transformed and delivered efficiently for downstream use.

This hands-on role requires basic SQL and programming skills, plus familiarity with big data tools and ETL platforms. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/ML/AI is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / ML / AI.
• Some experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
• Basic SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java or Scala).

Aufgaben

• Design, develop ETL/ELT pipelines for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Build data storage solutions (data lakes, warehouses and streaming platforms).
• Implement data quality, validation and monitoring processes.
• Optimize query performance and resource usage in data processing systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers and app developers to ensure data availability.
• Automate workflows for data ingestion, transformation and delivery.
