Job summary

EY’s Data and Analytics team in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and operate large-scale data pipelines and integrations. You will work with clients across BI, DW, and analytics projects, ensuring data quality and accessibility for business decisions.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve data models, implement robust monitoring, and deliver end-to-end data solutions within a Big Four environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience at mid-senior to senior level in data engineering or related fields.
• Experience across data architecture, information management, and software engineering.
• Exposure to financial services client/projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations.
• Improve data models for BI/analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Monitor data quality and ensure production data availability for stakeholders.
• Write tests and document work; collaborate with frontend/backend engineers, PMs, and analysts.
• Define data assets and jobs to populate data models.
