Job summary

Wyndham Garden i-City in Shah Alam is seeking a Kitchen Associate to assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the highest hygiene standards in our hotel kitchen. You will follow recipes, check quality, and ensure safe, clean work areas.

You will work closely with the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie to maintain mise en place, inventory rotation, and accurate presentation of dishes for buffet and function service.

Qualifications

• Maintain proper grooming and hygiene habits as defined in guidelines.
• Familiar with kitchen equipment and utensils procedure and usage.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and hotel loss-prevention measures.

Responsibilities

• Cook all food according to menu by following recipe.
• Taste and check the food before service to ensure quality.
• Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Keep work areas and kitchen storage tidy and clean.
• Maintain food freshness and proper rotation for buffet/ functions.
• Collaborate with Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie to uphold standards.
