JGK Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a junior Civil/Structural Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to assist senior engineers in developing solutions for reinforced concrete and steel structures. The role involves assisting with structural calculations, design checks and preparation of engineering documents.

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, with 0-3 years of relevant experience welcome. Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu is expected; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Job description

Assist senior engineers in developing civil and structural engineering solutions for reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Assist with structural calculations, design checks and preparation of engineering documents.

Support the preparation of documents for authority submissions and ensure relevant requirements are followed.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the scope of the role.

Requirements:

At least Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with 0-3 years of relevant experience are welcome.

Basic understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.

Interest in developing a career in structural and civil engineering design.

Familiarity with AutoCAD or structural engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, Prota, Tekla Structural Designer or TEDDS is an advantage.

Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Able to communicate effectively and work well within a team.

Able to follow instructions and work under the guidance of senior engineers.

Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.

Location & Working Schedule :

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
