Job summary

JGK Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a junior civil/structural engineer to assist senior engineers in developing solutions for reinforced concrete and steel structures. You will help with structural calculations, design checks, and preparation of engineering documents. Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with 0–3 years of experience are welcome. Proficiency in AutoCAD or structural software like STAAD.Pro, Prota, Tekla Structural Designer or TEDDS is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience welcomed.
• Basic understanding of civil/structural engineering principles.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing civil and structural solutions for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Assist with structural calculations, design checks and preparation of engineering documents.
• Support preparation of documents for authority submissions and ensure requirements are followed.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, within role scope.

Assist senior engineers in developing civil and structural engineering solutions for reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Assist with structural calculations, design checks and preparation of engineering documents.

Support the preparation of documents for authority submissions and ensure relevant requirements are followed.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the scope of the role.

Requirements:

At least Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
