Job summary

Astar Laboratory Sdn Bhd is seeking a chemistry graduate to support environmental and laboratory services in Malaysia. You will interpret data, document findings, and assist in maintaining quality systems while working with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical results.

Fresh graduates are welcome; familiarity with GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 is a plus, and own transport is preferred. The position is based in Kampung Senibong, Johor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Science Chemistry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge is a plus.
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and document results per guidelines.
• Maintain MS ISO/IEC 17025 documentation and records.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining MS ISO/IEC 17025 and Group Quality System.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• - Interpret data & meet strict guidelines on documentation, review & evaluate on experiment, writing report or finding paper as well as present scientific result.
• - Assist in maintaining technical documentation and laboratory records in accordance with MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• - Assist in implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IEC 17025 as well as Group Quality System.
• - Knowledge in calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot various analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, AAS, ICP, NIRS, Karl Fischer titrator, etc.
• - Knowledge to handle analytical instrument (GC, HPLC, GCMS, AAS, FTNIR, NIR, NMR, UV, Rancimat and so on)
• - Work collaboratively with cross-functional team and provide analytical guide.

Required Skills

• - Degree in Chemistry / Degree in Science Chemistry
• - Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• - Good in communication, read and write in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• - Knowledge of GLP and MS ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and documentation is added advantage
