Job summary

AmSpec Inspection Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a laboratory analyst to conduct rigorous analyses, adhere to ASTM standards, and maintain up-to-date safety and reporting procedures. You will generate accurate reports, work within GLP, and support a multi-shift lab environment in Johor Bahru.

The role requires a science degree or diploma, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple analyses under pressure. Fresh graduates are welcome; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Science / Chemistry or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in renewables, Fuel Oil, or commercial laboratory settings is an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity — accuracy of results is critical to business success.
• Ability to understand and apply EN / ISO / ASTM standards and procedures.
• Must be able to work with Fuel Oil, renewable feedstock oils, chemical reagents, and related green energy products.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while managing multiple analyses and tasks concurrently.
