Job summary

Ally Logistic Property, Co., Ltd. is seeking a Junior Chef (Cafe Kitchen) in Bukit Raja, Malaysia to support daily food preparation in a small café serving warehouse tenants and walk-in customers.

You will work in a lean team with multi-function roles, handling prep, cooking, plating, stock monitoring and occasional catering for tenant events, while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required; certificate/diploma in Culinary Arts, F&B or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or catering outlet.
• Valid Food Handler Training Certificate recognised by the Ministry of Health Malaysia
• Typhoid vaccination as required under the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009
• Able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support daily food preparation and cooking in a small café kitchen for warehouse tenants and walk-in customers
• Work as part of a lean team with overlapping roles from prep to service to cleaning
• Prepare and cook menu items (breakfast, rice/noodle sets, sandwiches, snacks)
• Carry out daily mise en place — washing, cutting, marinating, portioning and storing ingredients
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portion size
• Assist in catering preparation and packing for tenant events when required
• Guide service crew and support cashier duties during short-handed periods
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, chiller, and equipment
