Wilhelmsen group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior AR Accountant to manage day-to-day accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, payments matching and reconciling AR accounts. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

The role involves supporting month-end close, maintaining documentation, and contributing to process improvements. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred, with opportunities to grow in a global corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably processing in a high volume environment.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Previous experience in AR environment within an organisation or SSC/BPO is advantageous.
• Computer literacy – Excel, Word and other large enterprise systems (e.g. IFS, SAP, Oracle).
• Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken & written); additional languages helpful.

Responsabilités

• Process AR transactions including invoices, postings and reconciling accounts receivable data.
• Generate and send invoices and customer statements while ensuring accuracy.
• Process and reconcile bank statements, matching payments to open items.
• Support month-end close and assist with reconciliations as needed.
• Assist internal departments and stakeholders to resolve AR queries.
• Participate in migrations and transitions to the GBS model and maintain process documentation.
