Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ship Management is seeking an AR Accountant to handle accounts receivable transactions, invoices, bank reconciliations and related reporting. The role reports to the AR Team Leader and supports transitions into shared services and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 2+ years’ experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel, Word and ERP systems (IFS/SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of relevant finance experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable environment is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and large enterprise systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong command of English and Mandarin (spoken & written); additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day AR transactions including invoicing, posting and recording AR data.
• Process bank statements and reconcile payments against open items.
• Generate and send invoices and customer statements.
• Support month-end AR closing and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and contribute to system/process improvements.
