The role is ideal for fresh graduates or juniors with a programming foundation who want a career in software testing and automation. Training on frameworks and processes will be provided.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or junior engineer with a good foundation in programming.
• Willingness to learn automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with API testing concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Execute automated functional, regression and integration tests.
• Assist in converting manual test cases into automated scripts.
• Maintain reusable automation components and test data libraries.
• Analyse automated test results and identify defects.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and Analysts to understand requirements.
• Participate in reviews to identify automation candidates.
• Support CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• Manage test scripts in Git or similar VCS.
• Investigate failures and distinguish defects from data/environment issues.
• Prepare automation execution reports and testing evidence.
• Record defects using defect-management tools.
• Support improvement of the test automation framework.
• Explore AI-assisted testing tools to boost productivity.
