Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Execute automated functional, regression and integration tests.
• Assist in converting manual test cases into automated scripts.

• Analyse automated test results and identify defects.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and Analysts to understand requirements.
• Participate in reviews to identify automation candidates.

Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Automation Engineer to join our Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation team.

The successful candidate will work alongside Test Engineers, Automation Engineers, Business Analysts and Technical Leads to develop, execute and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs and enterprise systems.

This position is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior engineer with a good foundation in programming who is interested in developing a career in software testing, test automation and quality engineering.

Training and guidance will be provided on our automation frameworks, testing methodology and project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Automation Engineer will:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Execute automated functional, regression and integration tests.
• Assist in converting manual test cases into automated test scripts.
• Maintain reusable automation components, test data and automation libraries.
• Analyse automated test execution results and identify potential application defects.
