Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced QA engineer to own the testing lifecycle for portal-based applications in a fast-paced delivery environment. You will validate requirements, design robust test plans, and ensure quality across releases.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests, build UI and API automation with Python, Selenium or Playwright, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects while ensuring performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Software Testing or QA.
• Experience in manual and automated testing for complex web applications.
• Proficient in UI and API automation using Python and frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong ability to perform backend data validation via SQL and navigate Linux/RHEL environments for log analysis and basic shell commands.
• Skilled in planning and executing load, stress, and scalability tests while interpreting metrics such as response times and throughput.
• Expert in test design techniques to ensure comprehensive coverage and risk identification.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user stories and design specifications to identify critical test scenarios, coverage gaps and risks.
• Architect, review, and perform manual test cases for high-traffic web applications.
• Build and sustain automated test scripts for UI and API layers to accelerate delivery.
• Balance manual exploration and automated regression suites strategically.
• Conduct end-to-end testing cycles including functional, integration, regression, smoke and sanity checks.
