ABSOLUTION SYSTEM INTEGRATION SDN. BHD. in Sungai Jawi, Penang is hiring a Junior Accounts Executive to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will manage full-set accounts, support financial reporting and work with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries. Key duties include journal entries, AR/AP/GL, keeping records up to date, assisting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, and coordinating invoices with internal departments.

Qualificações

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or bachelor's in finance or accounting.
• 1–3 years accounting experience; audit experience a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; SQL Accounting knowledge required.
• Independent, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency; Mandarin helpful for some stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain records with supporting documents.

Our client "ABSOLUTION SYSTEM INTEGRATION SDN. BHD." is seeking a Junior Accounts Executive to join their team! This full-time, permanent opportunity in Sungai Jawi, Penang offers the chance to manage full-set accounts, support financial reporting and work with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.

What you'll be doing?

• Manage full-set accounts: Handle journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and fixed assets while keeping accounts up to date.
• Maintain accurate records: Keep accounting system records organised by matching and verifying supporting documents.
• Support financial closing: Assist with month-end, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting activities.
• Coordinate invoices: Follow up with internal departments to support timely, accurate invoice processing and payments.
• Prepare financial reports: Compile schedules and reports required for financial reporting.
• Liaise with stakeholders: Work with auditors, tax agents and the company secretary on accounting-related matters.

Who are they looking for?

• Relevant education: A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or an equivalent field.
• Accounting experience: 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, with audit experience considered an advantage.
• Accounting software skills: Good Excel and accounting system skills, with knowledge of SQL Accounting required.
• Independent approach: A self-motivated, result-driven individual who can work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong organisation: An organised, presentable and responsible working style with close attention to detail.
• Positive adaptability: The ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining flexible and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Language proficiency: English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are required for communication with internal teams and external stakeholders; Mandarin is advantageous for liaising with relevant colleagues or parties.
