Grab is seeking a growth-focused leader in Johor Bahru to own merchant acquisition and channel development. You will lead a sales team, design incentives, manage the regional budget, and drive performance with data-driven strategies. This onsite role reports to the Southern Region Commercial team and requires 5+ years in sales leadership.

You will stay ahead of market trends, expand channels, and ensure pipelines align with regional goals while delivering measurable growth for Grab in Johor.

Qualifications

• Must be locally based in Johor Bahru.
• Bachelor's Degree (any).
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 5 years of experience; prior sales team leadership is required.
• Visionary with awareness of industry trends and market changes.
• Team player who enjoys engaging with people.

Responsabilités

• Acquisition Strategy: develop and implement tailored strategies for acquiring non-managed merchant segments in Johor.
• Channel development: explore and establish new channels to acquire and manage merchants in Johor.
• Pipeline Management: oversee merchant acquisition pipeline aligned with regional goals.
• Leading: lead the sales team, design incentive structures, oversee payouts.
• Be Ahead of the curve: monitor industry and competitor activity for learning.
• Budget Management: oversee regional budget, ensure effective allocation and spend.
• Reporting and Performance Management: conduct regular check-ins and reporting on sales performance.
