Job summary

TG Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java and Oracle PL/SQL experience to design, develop, and support enterprise applications for our client in the ASEAN region. You will build Java-based applications and microservices, optimize PL/SQL components, and develop RESTful APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Java, Spring Boot, and CI/CD, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and deliver reliable software

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, performance tuning, and database optimization.
• Experience in REST API development, system integration, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile environment.
• Experience in the Insurance domain is an added advantage.
