Job summary

RAPSYS Technologies PTE LTD, Kuala Lumpur, invites a Software Application Development Engineer to manage development, implementation, and support of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) applications. You will apply hands-on ANSI C and Unix Korn Shell programming within the SDLC.

The role covers gathering requirements, design and development, unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and deployment, with emphasis on system infrastructure setup and automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ANSI C and Unix Korn Shell programming.
• Familiarity with Solaris operating system.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and change management tools (Aldon, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Knowledge of Oracle Tuxedo and IBM MQ Series is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Node.js, MySQL, Docker, VMware, and JSON is preferred.

Software Application Development Engineer

Role: Software Application Development Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Application Development Engineer to manage the development, implementation, and support of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ANSI C and Unix Korn Shell programming, along with a good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.


• Prepare technical documentation in accordance with the bank’s SDLC processes.


• Participate in application design and development. Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT).


• Provide production and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support. Manage system infrastructure setup, application deployment, and automation.


• Plan, prepare, and execute system rollouts and implementations.


• Ensure smooth application operations and provide ongoing technical support.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ANSI C and Unix Korn Shell programming.


• Experience with the Solaris operating system is highly preferred.


• Familiarity with SDLC processes and change management tools such as Aldon, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
