Job summary

CB Talents is hiring a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Representative in Kuala Lumpur to handle inquiries in Japanese and English. The role requires frontline customer service experience and a strong grasp of fintech/crypto concepts, with the ability to work five days a week across day and night shifts in a hybrid onsite/offsite setup.

Ideal candidates will be fluent in Japanese and English, have financial industry exposure, and a solid numerical background.

Qualifications

Native-level Japanese required for complex written interactions.
Strong English, written and spoken.
2–4 years in Customer Service / Live Chat / Email with frontline operations training.
Experience with financial institutions, fintech platforms, trading or crypto products is a plus.
Finance/STEM-related education preferred.
Strong numerical acumen and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist customers via live chat or email in Japanese and English.
Provide accurate, high-quality customer service.
Learn crypto trading platforms and market fundamentals.
Manage inquiries/complaints from users and follow up.
Identify customer needs and provide constructive feedback/solutions to management.
Flag discrepancies or risks to ensure smooth frontline operations.
