Job summary

Rock Maestro Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a dedicated IT Administrator to support our technology infrastructure and ensure seamless IT operations. This full-time role involves maintaining systems, troubleshooting, and optimising networks to minimise downtime and enable secure business continuity.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT support, strong OS knowledge, and experience with network administration.

Qualifications

2–4 years in IT support or administrator role.
Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux.
Experience with network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Certs such as CompTIA A+/Network+ or Microsoft are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment.
Provide first and second-line technical support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues.
Monitor system performance and implement preventative maintenance measures.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols.
Back up critical data and manage disaster recovery procedures.
Install and update software applications, operating systems, and security patches.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimise network performance.
Document IT infrastructure, configurations, and SOPs.
Collaborate with IT team to implement technical solutions.
Support deployment of new hardware and software systems.
