Job summary

Chiat Hin Envelope Manufacturer Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level IT support specialist to provide first-level assistance to end-users, perform basic PC and printer troubleshooting, and maintain IT systems including networks and CCTV.

You will learn to set up mobile devices, install software, and document IT assets while escalating complex issues to the IT Executive. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1 year IT support experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, networking and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, email systems and basic IT security.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, IP phones, printers and network devices is an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT technical support to end-users and assist in resolving daily IT-related issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of PCs, laptops, printers and operating systems.
• Assist in maintaining IT systems including servers, backup systems, CCTV, IP phones, door access, antivirus, email and network infrastructure.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, internet and connectivity issues.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining Android and iPhone devices for mobile phone users.
• Assist with software installation, updates, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of IT hardware, software and user accounts.
• Assist in maintaining IT equipment inventory and ensuring proper housekeeping of IT hardware.
• Provide basic user guidance and prepare simple IT reference materials when required.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Executive / superior or external service providers when necessary
