Job summary

Kotra Pharma (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at the Kuala Lumpur office. You will support sales data, reporting and database systems, transforming raw data into insights while ensuring accuracy, reliability and performance of our sales database infrastructure.

The role focuses on designing dashboards, ETL processes and maintaining SQL Server, with exposure to CRM systems and BI tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in data/reporting and database management.
Strong proficiency in SQL and SQL Server.
Hands‑on experience with SSRS.
Power BI or Tableau experience is an added advantage.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred.
Basic Python, PowerShell or VBA knowledge is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain daily and monthly sales reports, dashboards and KPIs using Power Query, SSRS and Excel.
Extract, transform and analyse sales data from CRM, ERP and other business systems.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reports.
Perform SQL Server database maintenance, backups, indexing and performance tuning.
Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Identify opportunities to automate and improve sales reporting processes.
Provide technical support for sales applications including CRM and CPQ.
Support user access, system configuration and data integration.
