Job summary

Shopee Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking IT Support (Software)/Centralised License Admin for a 12-month contract in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage software licenses, support provisioning, and ensure policy compliance while coordinating with Procurement and helpdesk teams.

Ideal candidates have a IT-related degree, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin. Entry-level applicants with 1–4 years in IT support or asset management are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business or related field is required.
• Mandarin and English fluency (written and spoken) are required to support regional units.
• Entry-level welcome; 1–4 years IT support or asset management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe or Zoom administration and ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira).
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of IT or asset management principles.

Responsibilities

• License lifecycle management: maintain entitlements and process allocations, deactivations, and requests.
• Operational coordination: work with Procurement and helpdesk for provisioning.
• User support & documentation: resolve access issues and update SOPs.

IT Support (Software)/ Centralised License Admin

As part of this role, you will support the daily operations of enterprise software license management. You will assist in tracking license allocation, maintaining accurate records, resolving user requests, and ensuring compliance with internal IT policies. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an interest in IT operations and process management.

Employment Type:

12-months contract (renewable/convertible)

What You Will Do:

License Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate records of entitlements and process user allocations, deactivations, and requests according to approved procedures.

Operational Coordination: Partner with Procurement to track availability and usage limits; collaborate with helpdesk and engineering for smooth user provisioning.

User Support & Documentation: Resolve basic access or activation issues and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal guides.

Governance & Compliance: Monitor utilization for optimization opportunities and ensure all license usage aligns with internal IT policies and audit requirements.

Reporting & Improvement: Support visibility through data reporting and contribute to automation or workflow enhancement projects led by senior members.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Mandarin and English fluency (written and spoken) are required to support regional business units.

Entry-level welcome; 1-4 years of experience in IT support or asset management is preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe, or Zoom administration and ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira).

Strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of general IT or asset management principles.

ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent is a plus.
